This deck was a wonderful birthday surprise！ A great choice that I may not have made myself though am glad someone else did！The design and artwork are beautiful and the messages are interesting and informative。 Great for tapping into your earthy inner witch and feminine powers！

Ii got this deck about a few weeks ago so I will update my review later on。The 70 cards are separated in two categories， the witches and the witches' materials。First of all I have to say that it looks and feels immaculate。 The illustrations are stunning， the cardstock has a beautiful texture and overhand shuffling （my preferred method for shuffling） is very easy。 The size of the cards might be too big if you have small hands but I had no trouble with it。 The box is big but if I ever need to carr Ii got this deck about a few weeks ago so I will update my review later on。The 70 cards are separated in two categories， the witches and the witches' materials。First of all I have to say that it looks and feels immaculate。 The illustrations are stunning， the cardstock has a beautiful texture and overhand shuffling （my preferred method for shuffling） is very easy。 The size of the cards might be too big if you have small hands but I had no trouble with it。 The box is big but if I ever need to carry the cards with me， I will be using a pouch。 Now lets talk about the guidebook。 Its coloured which came in handy when I was trying to get acquainted with the cards。 It contains basic keywords for each and every card， but the witches have a little bit of information about each author and her work。 While the keywords are enough to get you thinking， I get really stuck sometimes because I definitely dont think this is enough for digging deeper。 I would have liked to see explanations of the symbolism that is present in each card。 Its definitely an intuition exercise and definitely not for a beginner looking for a straightforward deck。 I think that the best way to make use of the deck is to find out what the symbolism means to you and write it down to make your own guidebook。 At least thats what I'm doing。On another note， it inspired me to check out a lot of the authors depicted in the cards。 I am so happy I got this deck！ I am taking out one star out of my review for the guidebook， but nevertheless I love this deck so far and I can't wait to use it more！！！ 。。。more

This is a challenging deck for newer readers because the cards are so minimal。 I also wish there were more authors。

I absolutely love this deck and the accompanying book。 My only qualm is that the cards are a bit big for my hands， but I’ve managed to find a way to shuffle them。

"The Witches' Materials are creatures and objects haunting the landscape - companions， talismans， or ingredients for spells。 All of these beings are alive for you to observe and make sense of with your own powers。"Damn - I've been drawn to tarots and oracle decks before， but this pack was not going to let me go home without having an easy night。 Long story short， I have it。 And I LOVE it。 Instant bond with them！The cards are all beautifully done （Please look up the artwork of these cards， they'r "The Witches' Materials are creatures and objects haunting the landscape - companions， talismans， or ingredients for spells。 All of these beings are alive for you to observe and make sense of with your own powers。"Damn - I've been drawn to tarots and oracle decks before， but this pack was not going to let me go home without having an easy night。 Long story short， I have it。 And I LOVE it。 Instant bond with them！The cards are all beautifully done （Please look up the artwork of these cards， they're all well done！）。 The cards involve well-known classic female writers around the world and they involve simple symbolism cards through nature or objects。 The cards on the writers involve a quick "about" section on the writer and whether they represent healing or family too。 From the "about" and the representation you can find your answer or what message is trying to come through。 The other cards straight up tell you three possible things you need to see。 It works like a divination - you see your symbol and it gives you a quick answer。 No further explanation。There are no examples of spreads within the booklet besides an example on a single card or the typical three-card representation。 The cards themselves are almost laminated - almost durable with a good feel。 They are easy to shuffle and I can see them lasting a long time。 The box itself provides protection for the cards in a little holder。 There is a piece of ribbon attached to the section of the box where the cards go in。 This ribbon sticks out。 When you pull the ribbon to the side， it lifts your cards upwards。 This is brilliant because I can't damage my cards or the box while trying to lift them。 Thank you！ 。。。more
